Re: USB timer
Hi - I only have 5.5w 5V solar panels currently - and likely I won't get further 7.5w ones made up (due to need for a lot of demand to make it worth getting a batch of a few hundred made up) Hopefully you can order here: Cottonpickers USB Timer (ideal for the Pi) Its near the bottom of the page http...

Re: Solar Light
Yes, although it was commissioned to switch the Pi on and off at various times in the day, it can be used to control the power of any 5V USB device.

Re: Solar time-lapse camera
and sorry for coming back late to you! - I can make a 2m lead easily, and can make the lead going in to the box waterproof. The other end would have a standard micro usb connector on it. I do have one challenge though, and that is that I have sold out of my 1500ma A4 sized solar panels (that I norma...

Re: Solar Charger Projects
I think today their are solar panels in some cars to circulate air while you are out, but I'd love to see cars that trickle charge while parked. Coupled with trickle charging parking bays at work and you could get a meaningful amount of energy into the battery (at least for the UK where most trips a...

Re: Cottonpickers Solar Battery UPS Case!
Nice pack. wow. good capacity.. For Li-ion battery packs one thing I look for is that they need to be able to stay on without auto switching off (at least I find these are more useful) otherwise you have to press the button each time to fire them up. That one looks nice - a *lot* of battery in there...

Cottonpickers Solar Battery UPS Case!
This is a Uninterruptible Power Supply Case for the B+ and Raspberry Pi Ver 2 Model I like it because it will allow you to run the Pi off power and immediately cut over to batteries when theres a power cut. Whilst you use the Pi it charges the batteries back up. The solar panel is included to run th...

Re: Solar time-lapse camera
Hi, I can make up a combo 2 box (but be aware I can get to the post office tomorrow and then not for another week or so) I have 1m micro leads as standard. I can put a longer usb socket (2m) to give you 2m to the usb socket then a 1m micro usb lead. Would that work?
